Microsoft Sri Lanka
Microsoft Sri Lanka is a longstanding partner of Sarvodaya-Fusion since 2004. Sarvodaya-Fusion has been the administrative partner for Microsoft in many Projects including ICT grant for Youth Solutions, ICT for War ravaged areas and Capacity building for Community Service Organizations. Fusion-Education Academy was set up recently with the collaboration of Microsoft IT Academy recently in order to broaden the opportunities in the rural and to bridge the global skills gap.
Information & Communication Technology Agency
ICTA partnered with Sarvodaya-Fusion for entrepreneur capacity building and sustainability of rural “Nenasala” Telecentres.
Cisco Networking Academy
The latest Industry partnership has been created between Fusion Education and Cisco Networking Academy, with the objective of offering rural students with industry specific qualifications, skills and knowledge at an affordable price and to equip and empower rural ICT Centres to be authorized training & testing centres in the long run.
Sarvodaya-Fusion partners with Facebook on a national level initiative to educate 20,0000 school & university students on using modern day ICT tools and ethical use of social media through its “IT Yahamaga” awareness series in order to inculcate a culture and develop good digital citizens.
HongKong & Shanghai Banking Corporation
HSBC has been a corporate partner since 2010 in various community development projects. Being a responsible corporate citizen in supporting the development of education of the Underprivileged children & Youth HSBC has been constantly engaging with Sarvodaya-Fusion in long term partnerships in carrying out such programmes. It has just launched a three year programme on empowering underprivileged youth with ICT skills and English knowledge in order to increase their employability.
Etisalat Sri Lanka
Sarvodaya-Fusion partnered with Etisalat Sri Lanka in successfully carrying out an Information Communication Technology Adaption programme called “SMART VILLAGE”. Children, Youth and Adults were trained on using different ICT devices such as Smart Phones, Tablets and PC’s educating the rural masses on the benefits of technology and its advancements to better their social and economic standards.
Lafarge ventured in to a sustainable IT Venture with Sarvodaya-Fusion to enhance the ICT education among disadvantaged students with the objective of empowering them to meet the challenges of tomorrow. It started the venture contributing partially for setting up a fully-fledged Computer Centre in JaEla.
John Keells Foundation
John Keells holdings Ltd through its CSR arm John keells Foundation has partnered with Sarvodaya-Fusion as their ICT education partner in their chosen projects. Fusion Education currently provide ICT training to students of five schools in Slave Island under JKF “Neighbourhood School Project” and intend to continue with various other ICT projects under JKF “Village Adoption” programmes.
STAX Development Corporation
STAX Development Corporation thus far has been based in the U.S., focusing in particular on education. They are now seeking to become more involved in projects in Sri Lanka-sharing their expertise and becoming known as reliable partner in the social innovation space. STAX Partners with Sarvodaya-Fusion with its pilot project on developing ICT & Entrepreneurial skills of Semi-Urban youth with the aim of making youth contribute effectively to the national economy.
World Bank Group
Sarvodaya-Fusion has been the trustee and the preferred Administrative partner of World bank over several years in many ICT related projects including ICT capacity building, education and Technology adoption.
Sarvodaya-Fusion partners with UNDP to provide consultancy in the project to ensure global environmental concerns and best practices with regard to Biodiversity, Climate Change, Land Degradation and adaptation of Sendai framework for disaster risk reduction in the post-conflict rapid development process of Sri Lanka through improved information management.
LK Domain Registry
Sarvodaya-Fusion partners with LK Domain Registry in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to carry out a national level initiative to educate communities on using modern day ICT tools to create a positive social impact thorough its “IT Yahamaga” awareness series.
Care Sri Lanka
Sarvodaya-Fusion partners with Care Sri Lanka in setting up an online job portal for unemployed youth in the northern region connecting them with potential employers. The partnership has been expanded in to the next phase of accommodating the beneficiaries/Trainees of CARE Hospitality programme in the southern region.
Fusion Education programmes are carried out through a network of affiliated telecentres island wide, enabling students to access high quality learning within their own communities at an affordable price. It has produced over 40000 IT diploma holders since 2009. From its humble roots of 9 Telecentres, Fusion’s network has expanded to over 75 centres spread across 22 districts
